The Storybook Collection will be live on our site this Friday, July 25th at 1 PM ET! There is a purchase limit of 1 per household for each item, which will be lifted 24 hours after launch.

The woodland friends of Hazel Village have many folk tales about legendary animals of field and forest. With the pieces in this collection, the Villagers can dress up as three fabled animals of Hazel Village legend: Lady Littlepaw, Sir Hazelnut, and Fluffy, the Non-Sharing Bunny (who is a pirate).

You can read the tale of Lady Littlepaw's Quest here! Lady Littlepaw Hat for Dolls – $18
Limit of 1 per household

Lady Littlepaw is a figure of Hazel Village legend who is known for her bravery and sense of adventure. Some say she was a fox, others say a cat – historical accounts differ. Undisputed, however, is the fact that she wore a very fancy cone-shaped hat. This one is made from beautiful gold and verdigris brocade, with an elegant veil of white and gold lace. It also has thoughtful ear holes. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Regal Radish Gown for Dolls – $20

When Flora Fox dresses up as Lady Littlepaw, her favorite part is the long pointy sleeves of this gown. It has extra-long skirts, too, as is befitting for a princess. Made from pink faux silk which has a lovely subtle sheen. A red radish with green leaves is hand embroidered on the bodice. (The significance of the radish is lost to history, but its image is still associated with Lady Littlepaw.) Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Fairy Plum Cloak for Dolls – $20
Limit of 1 per household

It is said that Lady Littlepaw wore a purple cloak when she embarked on her legendary quest to find the Fairy Plums. All the animals know that a cloak with a big hood is essential questing attire, just in case one should need to disguise oneself. This hooded cloak is made from the loveliest lilac silk, fit for a princess. It even has arm holes, in case the wearer should require more mobility for swashbuckling. Sir Hazelnut Costume Set for Dolls – $24
Limit of 1 per household

In Hazel Village folk tales, Sir Hazelnut is a knight who accompanies Lady Littlepaw on her quest for the Fairy Plums. This medieval costume is perfect for when the animals want to dress up and give that story as a play. Made from metallic gray crinkled mesh sewn over white cotton canvas, which creates the shiny look and sturdy feel of armor while remaining play-friendly. A golden embroidered shield is affixed to the chestplate, and a red yarn plume flourishes from the top of the helmet. Both pieces fasten in the back with velcro. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia.

Fluffy’s Pirate Hat for Dolls – $18
Limit of 1 per household

A classic pirate hat made from blue-black wool with thoughtful ear holes. Hand embroidered in ivory cotton floss with the pirate sigil of Fluffy, The Non-Sharing Bunny. Fluffy is a favorite villainous cautionary tale around Hazel Village, because - so the legend goes - he got a lot of nuts and acorns from the forest but DID NOT SHARE THEM! This hat was handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Buccaneer Tailcoat for Dolls – $20

A tailcoat fit for the most fearsome bunny pirate! In truth, we think this is the sort of item that could work equally well for a scallywag or a prince (depending on what the animals feel like playing). Made from lustrous navy blue velvet and fancifully trimmed with narrow gold braid. Hook and eye closure in front. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Just the thing for an animal to wear when they are dressing up as a certain notorious bunny pirate. Comfy t-shirt made from Winter Water Factory's classic High Seas print - swirling navy waves and pirate ships on 100% organic cotton. Closes with velcro at the back collar.
