Egg Day Mini Animals

Editorial of many mini robins, mini lambs, mini brown bunnies, and gathering baskets arranged nicely on a white ground

Three mini animals and a tiny woven basket will be live on our site this Monday, March 23rd at 1 PM ET! An automatic purchase limit of 1 per household for each item will be lifted 24 hours after launch. The Hazel Village animals always like to have some springtime dollies by their side for Egg Day festivities!

What is Egg Day, you ask? The Villagers celebrate this holiday every year on the first full moon after the spring equinox. First, each animal gets ready by decorating an egg. Then they draw straws to see who will be the Egg Day Bunny. (This is a ceremonial title and not exclusive to actual bunnies.) The Egg Day Bunny hides the eggs overnight, and whoever finds the most eggs in the morning gets a prize. The Egg Day Bunny always wears a special garment: the Egg Day Honorary Egg Sash. You can learn how to make this sash in our craft tutorial here.

This fluffy little fella is called Arthur Flowers. Zoe Rabbit loves him so because he looks just like her friend Arthur Lamb, and he has pretty flowers on his ears. Made from the same organic cotton Sherpa fleece as regular-sized Arthur, with hand-stitched eyes and nose. Liberty of London floral cotton ear linings. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Some say that spotting a red breasted robin is the first sign of spring. Arthur Lamb doesn’t know about all that, but he does say that spring is the best season to cuddle with his robin dolly, Chirper. Chirper is made from organic cotton fleece and lovingly hand-embroidered with birdy details. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Juliette Rabbit calls her bunny dolly Bonbon, because she is just as sweet as can be. Bonbon is made from cocoa brown organic cotton fleece, and has a round white cottontail. Her tall ears are lined in a lovely Liberty of London floral cotton. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

This perfect little basket is handmade from traditional palm straw by our artisan friends in Peru. It's the perfect size for holding one of the animals' teeny dollies. Or some choice flower petals, tiny cookies to leave on a friend's doorstep, etcetera. The animals say you can never have too many baskets!
