Welcome, MARGOT CAT!

MARGOT CAT will be arriving at Hazel Village on Thursday, February 6th at 1PM ET! We are simply delighted to introduce you to this cozy and crafty little cat. Margot is our first limited-edition friend of the year, and we think she sets quite a lovely tone to begin on.

Margot will be bringing along 8 items of her favorite doll clothing and accessories. There is a purchase limit of 2 per household for everything in this collection, which will be lifted after 24 hours.

Every purchase of Margot Cat will include her special-edition bandana, which is printed with our design elf Sara's original artwork. This bandana was the inspiration for Margot's cross stitch themed hints! (If you would like to try out Margot's cross stitch project, you can find our pattern here and it will also be linked in Margot's website listing.)

Read on to meet Margot and explore her confectionary collection! WELCOME, MARGOT! ♥️

Margot Cat – $54
Limit of 2 per household

Margot Cat tells us she’s an indoor cat, because she likes things that are cozy. Examples include rug hooking, spoon carving, baking and eating cakes. She will also do cozy outside stuff, like napping in the light shade of early summer, while her friends the birds go tweeting around.

Shortbread Sweater for Dolls – $20
Limit of 2 per household

Margot Cat has a tried-and-true recipe for delicious buttery shortbread cookies. She bakes them almost every week, so she always has cookies available – some for herself, and some to share. This cozy sweater is knit from soft cotton yarn in a buttery yellow hue, with ivory collar, cuffs, and hem. It closes with braided yarn ties at the back collar, accented by two fluffy ivory poms. Handmade by our artisan partners in Nepal. Will fit any Hazel Village doll or animal.

Cherry Red Button Boots for Dolls – $14
Limit of 2 per household

Though Margot considers herself an indoor cat, she will don these booties whenever she feels like taking a stroll outdoors. They are made from cherry red satin, with a white cotton lining and brown suede soles. A real shell button with pale pink accent thread fastens at each ankle. Handmade to fit any Hazel Village friend by our artisan partners in Colombia.

Lemon Blossom Overalls for Dolls – $16
Limit of 2 per household

Did you know that a lemon blossom is a kind of flower and also a kind of tasty little cake? Margot Cat taught us that! Her cheerful yellow overalls are inspired by both. Wide-leg, full-length overalls with fetchingly scalloped hems and goldenrod satin trim. Custom-printed cotton fabric features a design of dainty white flowers in sprigs and bunches. Velcro back closure, with an opening for Margot’s tail to stick out. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia. Original floral print by our design elf Sara.

Cozy Classic Socks for Dolls – $16
Limit of 2 per household

Margot Cat knit these socks with a classic sportswear design in mind, though she tells us she will be wearing them for her athletic activity of choice, which is crafting. Made from the softest ivory baby alpaca yarn, with red accents at the heel, toe, and cuff. Hand knit by our artisan partners in Peru, and will fit most any Hazel Village friend.

Candy Floss Bonnet for Dolls – $16
Limit of 2 per household

This charming candy floss colored bonnet has a pleated front, an elastic back, and a nice wide brim. Best of all, its thoughtful cat toy detail is just the thing to amuse one’s self during long walks. (Margot says she would be happy to lend it to any non-cat friends as well.) Made from pale pink linen with ivory trim, an ivory bow at the crown, and a red contrast lining on the brim’s underside. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Mini Lion – $18
Limit of 2 per household

Margot Cat is fond of dandelions, so naturally she named her lion dolly Dandy. Dandy is made from tan organic cotton fleece, with ivory woven cotton linings on his tiny ears. His mane and tail are made from yellow hand-loomed silk, and his very cute face is lovingly hand-embroidered. Handmade by our talented artisan partners in Cambodia.

Quilted Star Jacket for Dolls – $22
Limit of 2 per household

Margot Cat’s most precious possession is this quilted star jacket, which she made herself. She tells us it took her quite some time, but it was worth it in the end. We concur! This excellent jacket is made from soft woven cotton in bright pink and dark red, paired with a pink and white striped cotton for the points of the stars on the front and back. It is fully lined for maximum coziness, and fastens at the neck with a luminous real shell button. In reality it was beautifully handmade by our very skilled artisan partners in India. May be worn by any Hazel Village doll or animal.

This jacket will be RESTOCKING! Unfortunately we will not have our full quantity for Margot's launch, so we anticipate that it will sell out quickly. You will be able to sign up for a restock notification on its webpage!
