WELCOME, LEONARD!! We are THRILLED to finally introduce our dear friend Leonard Blue Jay, who has flown into Hazel Village for a visit. Leonard’s interests include crochet, crunchy snacks, and moving piles of materials around (rocks, sand, sticks, etc.). He really puts the “log” and the “sticks” in “logistics”!

Leonard Blue Jay crocheted his special sun hat in a pointy shape to suit his own pointy head crest. It has shiny silver trim around the brim, which Leonard chose to honor one of his favorite materials: tinfoil. “Tinfoil has so many uses, and is just so exciting!” says Leonard. Crocheted from white raffia with accents of bright blue cotton floss and metallic silver trim. Handmade by our talented artisan partners in Peru. Its blue jay-specific shape notwithstanding, this hat looks smashing on every Hazel Village friend.
