The Story Hour Collection will be live on our site this Wednesday, July 15th at 1 PM ET!

At least once a week, the Hazel Village animals gather in the Lodge for Story Hour. They take turns being the Storyteller – sometimes reading from books in Lucy Owl’s library, and sometimes making up tall tales from their imaginations.

This collection includes 9 items in total: 5 pieces of doll clothing/accessories, and 4 mini books. A purchase limit of 1 per household for all items will be lifted 24 hours after launch ♥️📚

Whichever animal is Storyteller for the day will don this special scholar’s tam. It is made from the darkest pine green velvet in a scalloped shape adorned with hand embroidery. A cornflower blue braided tassel is affixed to the top with a covered button. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

Storytime Socks for Dolls – $16

According to Lucas Rabbit, cozy socks are very important for storytime because chilly paws are distracting and make it hard to listen closely. These tall merino wool socks are bright green with a wide band of apple red checks and a dark green cuff and toe. Handmade by our artisan partners in Nepal.

Hero Girls of the Forest Mini Book – $8

Hero Girls of the Forest is perhaps the most beloved book in the animals’ library. It tells the tales of Star Bright, the bravest bunny girl; Sara T. Toad, who met and befriended the Scary Tiger; and Ivy Benedetto, that restless goat girl who adventured on the high seas. Written and illustrated here at our Brooklyn workshop, and printed by GirliePress in Seattle, WA. Measures 1.5 x 2".
