The Icicle's First Twinkle
The Icicle's First Twinkle Collection will be live on our site this Monday, December 16th at 1PM ET! There will be a purchase limit of ONE per household for all items in this collection. The limit will be lifted after 24 hours for any items that are still in stock. 12/16 is also our USPS Ground Advantage holiday shipping deadline, so orders placed on launch day should be delivered in time for gifting if you live in the US!
The Icicle's First Twinkle (sometimes referred to as Twinkle Day) is the last Hazel Village holiday of the calendar year. On the longest night of the year, when the pond is cold enough to skate on, the animals have a twinkly lantern ball. Then they stay up all night long in the Lodge, drinking cocoa and singing songs. They take turns sneaking outside to the Present Tree, to decorate it with beautiful decorations, birdseed treats, and presents for their friends. In the morning when the sun comes up, they open their presents together 🎁♥️❄️

Icy Blue Snow Suit for Dolls – $20

A cozy suit to keep the animals snug and warm when they are playing outside on snowy days. Nicholas Bear Cub says it is excellent attire for building snow forts. Made from icy blue satin and quilted over cotton batting for a classic puffy texture. Sleeveless, for comfy layering with coats and sweaters. Velcro back closure with a considerate tail hole. Twinkle Ball Bow Tie for Dolls – $12

Oliver tells us that this bow tie makes him feel like quite the distinguished gentlemouse, particularly when paired with his corduroy tailcoat. Pretty fancy duds, Oliver! The white silk bow is affixed to a sage green silk band. This necktie is secured with a tiny real shell button, so you don’t have to worry about undoing and redoing the artfully tied bow. You can almost feel the gently blowing wind, almost hear the quiet footfalls of the animals over snow. Enchanting! For the animals who wish to accessorize themselves just like the Present Tree, this sparkly crown evokes its festive tinsel trimmings. Silver trim is sewn to a pale blue linen band, with a flourish of ribbon accenting the velcro back closure. The perfect piece of headwear for attending a twinkly lantern ball! Handmade with love in our Brooklyn workshop.
Snowflake Sweater for Dolls – $22

This sweater’s lacy hexagonal pattern brings to mind the paper snowflakes that the animals make in wintertime, to decorate the windows of their cottages. It is slightly cropped, with 3/4 length sleeves and a wider neckline – fits more like a fancy crocheted top rather than our usual sweater shape. Closes at the back collar with a single yarn button and loop. Hand-crocheted by our artisan partners in Peru from the softest ivory baby alpaca yarn.
