Welcome back, Simon and Mortimer Mouse! Friends, Mortimer Mouse and his sous-chef, Simon Mouse, will return to Hazel Village on December 3rd at 1 PM ET. Limit of 2 of each product per household, please!

Mortimer Mouse enjoys baking and tending his sourdough starter. Sometimes he takes a wagon to the farm, and gets the animals to give him a tiny bottle of milk and one egg. He gives them cookies in return. He says he will be happy anywhere, as long as he gets the occasional starchy treat.

Simon Mouse is quite small, so he doesn’t need to eat much. For instance, he can strap a single acorn to his back and take it on a hike, nibbling little bites whenever he is hungry.

When were Simon & Mortimer first introduced to the Village?

Simon Mouse was actually the second Hazel Village animal Jane ever created back in 2010! It was after Jane created the first Hazel Village animal, a tiny Annicke Mouse, that she created another small gray mouse. This was Simon Mouse! After she created Simon, she decided the animals needed to be about 40% bigger. That's when she created the Village's culinary chef, Mortimer Mouse.
