The Festive Foraging Collection

The Festive Foraging Collection will be live on our site this Thursday, November 7th at 1PM ET! This collection includes eleven new items of doll clothing and accessories for your Villagers to wear this holiday season 🌲🌰🎁

Please note that a number of these items will be RESTOCKING if they sell out quickly! If you aren't able to purchase an item on launch day, make sure to check its product page for a restock notification signup button.

Let's talk about stock! This is our "holiday core" collection – meaning we want these items to stick around through November and December. However, if you have been shopping our recent launches, you will know that many items have been selling out on launch day. We've learned that even when we think a collection is well stocked, there is still no guarantee that it might not sell quickly. To be cautious, we are setting a launch day purchase limit of 2 per household for everything in this collection.

Unfortunately, several items in this collection will be launching with partial stock due to delayed shipments. These items will be restocking as soon as we receive our full quantity. This is less than ideal, but it’s that time of year – shipping delays are an unfortunate inevitability and we have to make the best of it!

In the event that other items may sell out too fast, we are prepared to make an additional batch if we have the capacity to do so. We would not be able to restock everything – it would depend on many factors, including how long different handicrafts take to make. If an item that you want sells out before you can purchase it, please check that item’s product page for a ‘Notify Me When Available’ button. If you see that button, it means that a restock is in the works!

Determining product quantities as a small retail business is always a balancing act, and we so appreciate you bearing with us as we keep doing our best to get it right. Thank you, friends – read on to explore the Festive Foraging Collection! ♥️

Giant Chanterelle Hat for Dolls – $22
Limit of 2 per household

The woodland friends modeled this hat off of the mighty chanterelle, which is one of their favorite varieties of mushroom. Jeremy Owl tells us that wearing it gives him great foraging confidence, and also keeps his ear feathers nice and warm. It is made from wool felt in a rich auburn color that fades beautifully into ivory at the base. The snug fit and the felt’s naturally grippy texture helps this hat stay put on most animal’s heads, though we probably wouldn’t recommend it for toads. Handmade with a traditional wet-felting technique by our artisan partners in Nepal. Sublime!

Chestnut Picking Boots for Dolls – $16
Limit of 2 per household

The perfect Village footwear for all sorts of activities! These nifty boots are made from chestnut-colored cotton canvas, with natural cotton binding and waxed cotton laces. Lighter brown leather toe, sole, and tongue. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia, and will fit any Hazel Village doll or animal.

Mini Moose – $18
Limit of 2 per household

Oliver Mouse calls his moose dolly Cloudberry, because his antlers are cloud-colored and he is BERRY cute. (Also because he knows cloudberries grow up north, where the weather is cold and moose like to roam.) Cloudberry is made from dark brown organic cotton fleece, with tiny ears lined in mulberry linen and a round white snout. His antlers are made from warm gray linen, and he has a braided yarn tail. Handmade by our talented artisan partners in Cambodia.

Forest Adventure Backpack for Dolls – $12
Limit of 2 per household

Whatever adventures a Hazel Village animal’s day may hold, you can be sure that they will be bringing along this excellent backpack. Made from pine green cotton canvas, it has a large main pocket with a riveted leather tab and a real shell button stitched on with marigold thread. The exterior pocket has charcoal-striped trim and is just the right size for a mini animal (in case your Villager happens to need an adventure buddy). The straps are made from traditional Japanese striped cotton tape. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia.

Marbled Moon Dress for Dolls – $14
Limit of 2 per household
