Springtime Essentials
The Springtime Essentials Collection will be live on our site this Wednesday, February 25th at 1 PM ET! As the days lengthen and the air loses its frosty chill, the Hazel Village animals are preparing for spring. This collection includes 12 items to refresh their daily wardrobe for the changing seasons.
Everything in this collection will be sticking around throughout the spring and summer! If any item should sell out, you will be able to sign up for a restock notification on its product page. There will be no purchase limits for this launch.

Breezy Picnic Dress for Dolls – $16
Made from airy white cotton voile with a woven check, this is the perfect dress for picnicking all spring and summer long. It has a cream-colored grosgrain ribbon waistband, a gathered skirt, short sleeves, and velcro back closure. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia.
Teatime Frock for Dolls – $16
A sweet, simple dress to wear whilst enjoying a cup of tea and nibbling on dainty little cakes. Dusty pink cotton with an ivory Peter Pan collar, a gathered skirt, short puffed sleeves, and velcro back closure. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia.
Blue Oxford Play Dress for Dolls – $14
Flora Fox wears this dress when she plans to play outdoors and doesn’t want to get her finer frocks all grubby. It has cap sleeves, a gathered skirt, and front placket closure with two real shell buttons. Made from sturdy Oxford-woven cotton, light blue with a subtle white check. Fort Building Shorts for Dolls – $14
Light brown linen shorts with a gathered waist and an overlap in the back so your animal's tail can stick out. Lucas Rabbit says they are the perfect shorts for fort building, since they are both breathable and easy to squat in. (Fort building is serious business, Lucas tells us.) Patchwork Short Overalls for Dolls – $18
These patchwork short overalls are beautifully made from dark brown, ivory, and eggshell blue linen, and decorated with hand stitching. Gathered at the waist with a wide leg shape, an overlap in back where your animal's tail can stick out, and a Velcro back closure. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.
Queen Anne's Lace Crown for Dolls – $10
A delicate garland of our custom brocade ribbon, trimmed with white ribbon flowers and stitched to a silky sage green taffeta band. Suits any woodland friend, even toads if they wear it as a necklace or sash. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.
Frilly Socks for Dolls – $16
Our fanciest socks yet! These are made from the softest ivory baby alpaca yarn, hand knit in an eyelet lace pattern with frilly cuffs. Equally fetching when worn alone or when paired with the animals’ Dancing Boots. Handmade by our artisan partners in Peru.
Straw Bonnet for Dolls – $22
A handwoven straw bonnet which fits beautifully on any Hazel Village friend. It sits just behind the ears (or the eyes, if you are a toad) and ties securely under the chin with cotton twill tape strings. Finished with a hatband of dark brown grosgrain ribbon. Nest Vest for Dolls – $22
This vest reminds the Villagers of the lovely nests that their bird friends build every spring. Beautifully textured and snuggly soft, it is knit in a basketweave stitch from light brown baby alpaca yarn. The tummy pocket is perfect for carrying one’s mini tree frog dolly while out and about. Mini Tree Frog – $18
The Hazel Village animals always name their dollies, and this mini tree frog is called Flowers. Flowers is made from smooth organic cotton and hand-embroidered with charming details. Puddle Stompin’ Set for Dolls – $28
Ideal attire for all rainy-day activities, such as splashing around in puddles and looking for snails in the garden. Made from water-resistant waxed cotton canvas, this cheerful yellow set includes:
- A raincoat with a classic collar, real shell buttons, and two patch pockets
- A rain hat with a wide brim and cotton twill tape ties to stay secure on a Villager’s head
- A pair of rain booties with white leather soles
