The woodland friends of Hazel Village love celebrating May Day every spring. They wear their nicest spring frocks, weave beautiful ribbons around a Maypole, and perform their best May Day dances. The May Day Collection will be live on our site this Wednesday, May 1st at 1PM ET!  

 

Emma Rabbit picked Forget-Me-Nots for this garland because she couldn’t possibly forget about May Day (her very favorite holiday) and she wanted to make sure none of her friends did either. Quite thoughtful! Sky-blue satin ribbon trimmed with blue and white flowers – the perfect accessory for any May Day outfit. Handmade with love in our Brooklyn workshop.

 

When planning her look for this year’s May Day celebration, Emma Rabbit decided a fresh white dress would be best to compliment the brightly colored ribbons of the Maypole. This dress has a full cotton skirt, so Emma can perform her most complex dance steps with ease, and a dreamy tulle overskirt to add even more volume for twirling. The puff-sleeve cotton bodice is also overlaid with tulle, and the dark green satin sash ties in a suitably large bow at the back. Velcro closure, fits any Hazel Village doll or animal.

 

We simply must remark upon the magnificence of this billowy shirt! Inspired by a classic historical silhouette, it has gloriously voluminous puffed sleeves and a dashing open collar with twill tape ties.
