How splendidly lettuce-y! This costume consists of a cape and headpiece, both made from bright woven cotton in a chartreuse hue and lined in darker green cotton sateen. The ruffle rosette headpiece evokes the spiraling center of a head of lettuce. The elegant cape has a wide collar and hem, artfully sewn to capture the crisp, crunchy energy of a lettuce leaf. To complete the ensemble, both pieces are embroidered with white veins just like you see on real lettuce.
