Giant Toadstool Costume for Dolls

A magnificent costume for the Mushroom Festival! The stunning red velvet cap is hand-embroidered with white spots, and its ivory linen underside is artfully pleated to create the effect of gills. The lightly padded, column-shaped suit has a neck ruff to evoke the skirt around a mushroom’s stem. Closes in back with two velcro tabs. Handmade by our artisan partners in Cambodia.

    A new favorite!

    So glad we got this cute costume. The body is stuffed and just looks so cute with the hat, I have it on Oliver mouse and it is basically perfection! I love the rich red velvet and pretty embroidered white dots. I just love it so much! If you are on the fence snag it up, it is so worth it and limited edition.

    Ratatouille in Real Life

    I hemmed and and hawed over getting this toadstool costume - and absolutely love it, especially on the mice! found that if you turn the red hat backwards, it doesn't cover as much of the animals' ears. Likewise, it gives more space for the "stalk" to look like a normal straight line dress. The online photos do not do it justice! Very well made - love the red velvet fabric!

    A must-have!

    I hesitated a while to purchase this because I didn't "need" it. I'm so glad I changed my mind! It's such a fun piece and looks so good on any of the animals. We put ours on Owen fox and it's so fun and whimsical. It's incredibly well made! Such a wonderful addition to the villagers' wardrobe!
