Here's a sneak peek of our brand new Storybook Collection, coming to the Village on Tuesday, June 29th at 1 PM ET. There is a limit of 2 of each product per customer. Thank you, friends!
The woodland friends, dressed in clothes that elicit motifs straight from the pages of a storybook, are scattered across a beadboard backdrop in a flat lay with miniature storybooks.
Princess of the Realm Dress - $16
What a beautiful gown for the Princess of the Realm to wear when she governs - it has a map of her lovely storybook kingdom! As soon as we saw this beautiful cotton fabric from Liberty of London, we knew we wanted to use it. The design is of a pretty big map, so each gown features a different cast of magical characters. It could be mermaids, giants, or witches! The Princess of the Realm has to work with a lot of different constituencies, that’s for sure. Good thing she is both wise and just.
Billowing Waves Pants - $12
How stylish! How watery! Cropped high-waisted trousers feature a Liberty of London print of big billowing waves. Tail-friendly back closure with Velcro. Tres chic!
Sea Monsters Suit - $14
A nice breezy bathing costume in a print that Liberty of London calls “Sea Myths.” It sure is covered with funny storybook sea monsters. It features frilly elastic details at chest and legs, a tail-friendly back opening, and a Velcro closure.
Pirate Bunny Set* - $20
Pirates are, obviously, a great thing to play on the lake beach in the summertime. So the animals tell us. Here’s a classic pirate hat made from black wool with thoughtful ear holes, hand embroidered with Fluffy, The Non-Sharing Bunny.  (Fluffy is a favorite villainous cautionary tale around Hazel Village, because - so the legend goes - he got a lot of nuts and acorns from the forest but DID NOT SHARE THEM!) The hat comes with a jaunty red silk neckerchief to complete the look. Fierce yet fun!
Golden Storybook Crown - $8
Here is a golden crown that the Princess of the Realm can wear while she governs. Made from a scrap of gold leather, trimmed with mauve linen. Very regal!
Storybook Sailor Shirt - $10
A breezy shirt perfect for animals who want to navigate the open seas, whether their business is legitimate or otherwise. Nice Pima cotton in a classic white and navy stripe. Velcro back closure. A wardrobe staple even when the animals are not acting out stories.
