Bird Parade 🐩

During the spring & autumnal equinoxes, the Villagers like to dress up like birds and march in the Bird Parade. In the autumn they fly (or march) south in the parade.

Celebrate the autumnal equinox with the Villagers with your very own Bird Parade costumes! Launching September 30th at 1 PM ET. Limit of 2 of each product per household, please!

Pelican Hat - $20

A flat lay of the crane/pelican hat. We asked the animals what kind of crane is on this bonnet, and they were pretty vague. But the important thing is, with its bouncy red fabric “feathers” and bright orange beak and chin bow, it’s hard to miss. White linen base is fully lined and has the crane’s eyes hand-embroidered in black.Nicholas Bear Cub soars in his pelican hat, his arms out behind him imitating the flapping of the wings on a bird.

Bird Tights - $12

What bird costume would be complete without bird legs and bird claws? This is a question you may not have thought to ask, but the Hazel Village animals have thought of everything. Soft peach heathered cotton leggings have an elastic waist and a tail hole. And, notably, dark gray-green bird claws stitched onto the front hems. How
avian!

Owl Feathers Dress - $16

An artisanal, feathery layering piece for your animal’s most bird-like adventures. Apron-style dress has our “Owl Feathers” print on the bodice, and a double layer of tulle for the skirt. Skirts are hand-dipped and speckled with permanent ink, so no two are alike. Just like the birds of the sky! Velcro back closure at neck, open below for a loose, swirly fit.Gwendolyn Raccoon stuns in her couture owl feathers dress.

Blue Bird Costume - $42

Beautifully crafted from slate blue and sky blue linen, this bluebird suit is lined with natural cotton and soft padding to add structure. It has hand stitched details on the wings and tail feathers. It comes with a matching bluebird hat, complete with hand-stitched eyes and an orange silk beak. The animals remind us that it’s not enough to just wear the suit - you have to also flap your arms and do your best bird calls. Noted!
