Emma and Oliver were working on braided friendship necklaces for their friends, when Emma found out that Oliver was "a little rusty" about how to braid. So Emma gave him a refresher lesson. She said,"Ollie, see how we have made these threads into three sections? And we have made a left section, a middle section, and a right section?"

Well you must pick either the left or right section, and put it on top so it can be the new middle section. Let's start with the left. 

Then let the piece on the other side have a turn to be the middle section. Put it on top in the middle. 

Then the piece on the left again,

Then the piece on the right. 

They keep taking turns.

When Oliver had braided as much as he wanted, he tied a knot at the end. Now he remembered how to braid!
